Hwajabonga

Hwajabonga is a charcoal-grilled meat restaurant in Yeonsu-dong, Chungju. It serves thick samgyeopsal (pork belly), pork collar, and ribs grilled over charcoal. Clam doenjang jjigae is also available, with a choice of mild, regular, or spicy seasoning. It contains so many clams that it is difficult to get a spoon into the stew.
