Fukuoka City Hall sits in front of this park, where a Christmas-season market sells food and drinks. The wide grounds have seating, so it works for eating a packed lunch or resting. During Christmas the park is lit at night and a large Christmas tree from QTnet is put up. It also serves as the goal point for Hakata Dontaku.
