Hotaki Shrine

Hotaki Shrine is a small shrine in Chuo Ward, Sapporo, within the grounds of Hokkaido Jingu. It honors the spirits of deceased employees of Hokkaido Takushoku Bank and is guarded by bronze komainu. The shrine was built in 1938 on the roof of the Hokkaido Takushoku Bank head office and moved to this site in 1950. It offers few special sights for general visitors.
