Geusijeol Geumat

Geusijeol Geumat is a donut shop inside Cheongnyangni Market in Jegi-dong, Seoul, selling kkwabaegi and glutinous rice donuts. The glutinous rice donuts are crisp outside and moist inside, with whole red beans and nuts, and the kkwabaegi come out warm. It is a shop that has been open for over 40 years, and on weekends customers wait about 15 minutes for takeout while turnover is fast. Fried donuts lose their taste when cold, so they are eaten hot.
