Gangnam Chojang is an indoor pocha in the food alley of Gaepo-dong Market, selling makhoe along with seafood such as cuttlefish and san-nakji. The makhoe is sliced like noodles and eaten wrapped in perilla leaf with soybean powder and flying fish roe, and staff explain how to eat it. The space is fairly large, set in a 1970s–80s street-stall-style shop with popular songs from that era playing. Around 6 p.m. it fills to capacity, so waits can be long.
