Gangneung Gaeksamun

Gangneung Gaeksa Gate stands in Yonggang-dong, Gangneung. It was the symbol of Gangneung Daedohobu and served as a government office during the Joseon period, holding its position since the Goryeo period. It can be seen together with Gangneung Daedohobu and has been reworked as a cultural space. Few visitors come, so it is usually quiet.
