Chihyeonjeong

Chihyeonjeong is a small pavilion lookout on Chihyeonsan above the Banghwa Tunnel, reachable from Banghwa Station and Banghwa Neighborhood Park. It looks out over the Han River, Banghwa Bridge, Haengjusanseong, and Haengju Bridge in the distance, and the bridge lights come on 15 to 45 minutes after sunset. The climb is about 10 minutes up the trail behind Gangseo Starlight Space Science Museum, or about 30 minutes on foot from Banghwa Station, and you can rest at the pavilion. There is no lighting at night, making access difficult, and mosquitoes are numerous in summer.
