Ilheungok

Ilheungok is a long-established restaurant in Gunsan that serves one dish: bean sprout haejangguk made in the torem style. Rice is placed in the soup and topped with bean sprouts, a poached egg, seaweed flakes, and red pepper powder. It is open from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., and diners pay first after entering and then take a seat. The hall is full and noisy in the morning.
