The Majeon Seoktap at Bunhwangsa in Gyeongju is the oldest surviving Silla stone pagoda, built by stacking bricks cut from andesite, which give it a dark gray color. Photographs from the Japanese colonial period are displayed alongside proposals for restoring it to seven and nine stories. The restoration proposals are presented separately, so the current form alone does not show how many stories it once had.
