Heondeokwangneung is a Silla royal tomb in Dongcheon-dong, north of the Bukcheon stream in Gyeongju. It holds the remains of Heondeok, the 41st king of Silla, who reigned from 809 to 826. The tomb is designated Historic Site No. 29, and a dense pine forest around it makes for a walking route. During the season when pesticides are sprayed, the surrounding rice paddies make it better to stay away.
