Sungsinjeon sits next to the Tomb of King Talhae in Gyeongju. It was a shrine for King Talhae, and from 1906 it also enshrined the founding kings of the Park, Seok and Kim clans. County magistrate Gwon Sangmun built it in 1898, and in 1980 it was moved from inside Wolseong to its current site. King Talhae was the fourth king of Silla and reigned from 57 to 80.
