Hiroshima Museum of Art

The Hiroshima Museum of Art stands near Hiroshima Castle and displays modern Western European art, including Picasso, Monet, Gogh, Renoir and Chagall. Its permanent collection shows Romantic, Impressionist, Fauvist and Cubist works alongside Japanese Western-style painters. Photography is allowed throughout the permanent exhibition, while in special exhibitions only certain works may be photographed. The exhibition scale is small.
