Xiaomailang Mianbao Bing is a traditional bakery selling egg tarts and bread in a Mong Kok alley. The egg tarts come in two types: cookie crust and puff pastry, and coconut tarts and mango sticky rice cakes are sold as well. Egg tarts are sometimes served hot from the oven, and a variety of breads are displayed. The puff pastry egg tart has a shell that breaks apart easily, dropping flakes while eating.
