Jeongseon Sijang Sanginhoe

Jeongseon Market Merchants Association runs the Jeongseon 5-day market in Jeongseon County. Vendors sell Gangwon food such as gondre rice, buckwheat cabbage pancakes, kimchi-filled jeonbyeong, susu ppukumi, buckwheat noodles, and olchang muk. A samulnori performance takes place in the center of the market, and local agricultural products and wild vegetables are on display. On crowded days the market grounds become narrow and are hard to walk through comfortably.
