Ildeung Gopchang Jip

Ildeung Gopchang Jip is an old gopchang restaurant in the Changsin-dong gopchang alley, near Dongdaemun Station Exit 1, serving vegetable gopchang, egg gopchang, and odolppyeo. Order vegetable gopchang mixed with odolppyeo, finish with fried rice, and take kongnamulguk yourself from the self-service station. The dining room has about six tables, three of them floor-seated, and takeout orders are stir-fried to order with the dangmyeon packed separately. Seats are tight, the tables are close together, and the smell of gopchang lingers in the room.
