Junmyeongdang is a hall inside Deoksugung in Seoul. King Gojong of Joseon used it for state affairs, and royal portraits were kept there. It was rebuilt after a fire in 1904, and in the early Japanese colonial period it served as a kindergarten for Princess Deokhye. A small chimney ornament stands in the garden behind it, but shade is hard to find there in summer.
