Yeongdeok Hoe Sikdang is an old hoe restaurant in Seoul's Mugyo-dong that serves makhoe, mulhoe, and stews made with saengtae, dongtae, and dorimuk. The mulhoe is eaten without broth, with ice added separately to melt into it, and the side dishes and the fish inside change continuously. Lunch customers crowd in so heavily that arriving at 11:30 AM still means sitting in the last seat, and the stews are ordered from two servings with rice ordered separately. Arriving late means there are no seats and you have to wait.
