Kyoto Prefectural Insho-Domoto Museum of Fine Arts

The Kyoto Prefectural Tomoto Insho Museum of Fine Arts displays works and temporary exhibitions by Tomoto Insho. It stands in front of Ritsumeikan University, between Kinkaku-ji and Ryoan-ji. The artist designed the building's exterior, interior decoration, and chairs, and stained glass and outdoor displays are also on view. The building itself is a registered national tangible cultural property, and the exhibition rooms are viewed along a gentle slope.
