Marusim Mapo is a freshwater eel restaurant near Gongdeok Station and Mapo Station in Seoul that serves Nagoya-style hitsumabushi and Japanese-style eel over rice. For the hitsumabushi, the rice is divided into four portions: the first is eaten plain, the second with perilla leaf, scallion, and wasabi, and the third with seaweed and green tea. Steamed egg, salad, doenjang, and side dishes come with the eel rice bowl, and rooms are available for family gatherings. The texture of the eel is disappointing.
