Gansevoort Peninsula is a park in Hudson River Park in Manhattan with a sandy beach and lawn areas. The sand holds parasols, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and water-spray cooling features. A soccer field and lounge chairs facing the river look out on the city skyline and Little Island. It is a place for sand and sun rather than for entering the water.
