The Army Training Center in Nonsan is a facility where recruits live communally and train for five to six weeks. They stay in 16-person dormitories and receive meals, clothing, and toiletries at no cost. A bugle wakes them each morning and lights-out is at 10 p.m., with stays lasting around a month. Some buildings have no shower room or are under construction, so recruits must travel elsewhere to wash.
