Nishi Tenboudai (Irinou Azana) is a free observation point at the western edge of Shurijo Park, looking down over Naha city and the sea. From this high spot facing west, Naha city, the East China Sea, and on clear days the Kerama Islands are visible, along with the sunset. It stands at about 130 meters above sea level, and in the past a bell here announced the time. A slope leads up to the observation point, and the main hall of Shurijo is still under construction.
