Darae Kalguksu

Darae Kalguksu is a restaurant near Chungam High School in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, serving kalguksu and mandu-guk. The mandu-guk uses mandu filled with chives, minced meat, and tofu in a thin, soft wrapper, while the kalguksu is boiled in a sweet soy sauce-based broth with clams. Ordering kalguksu brings a small bibimbap before the main dish arrives. The shop moved from a small space on the first floor to a larger, neatly organized space on the second floor, and the kalguksu broth is clean and refreshing with good noodles.
