Namwon Chueotang

Namwon Chueotang is a chueotang restaurant in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, on the way from Seoul National University Station toward Bongcheon Station. It serves whole loach soup, mushroom loach soup, jeongol, and sukhoe, along with chueotang made from loaches brought from Buan and dolsotbap. After finishing the soup, water is poured into the hot stone pot to make nurungji and sungnyung. The banchan are musaengchae, baechu kimchi, and chicory muchim, and the restaurant operated in Bongsari for over ten years before moving to its current location due to redevelopment.
