Oak Tree Charcoal Grilled Chicken

Chamnamu Sutbul Tongdak is a chicken restaurant under the Dorim overpass between Sindorim Station and Yeongdeungpo Station, where whole chickens are roasted over oak charcoal. The charcoal-roasted tongdak has crisp skin and tender meat, with scorched rice laid inside. There are seven or eight tables outdoors, and on weekend evenings around 8 p.m. people wait for seats. For takeout it is better to call ahead, and ordering only the chicken adds a table setup fee.
