Rakuten Stay Urban Shijo Kawaramachi is a Japanese-style business hotel on a side street off Kawaramachi, near Kawaramachi Station and the Kamo River. It offers both tatami rooms with futon bedding and rooms with beds, and the first floor has a hot and cold water dispenser, an automatic coffee machine, and a microwave. The Kamo River is about a five-minute walk away, the bathroom has a separate sink, toilet, and shower area, and a 24-hour mart is next door. Windows barely open, so the room becomes humid after a shower, and there is no bathtub.
