Nanbantei Japanese Restaurant (Chinatown Point)

Nanbantei Japanese Restaurant is a Japanese izakaya in Chinatown Point, Singapore, serving yakitori and sashimi over charcoal. Chefs grill skewers of chicken thigh, chicken wing, pork and asparagus at the counter in front of diners, and the menu also includes kurobuta pork and yakitori rice bowls. Bar seats look onto the grill where the skewers are cooked, and lunch sets can be ordered until 6:45 pm. In the evening and on Saturdays the seats fill up, and asking for tea and drink refills can be difficult.
