Bongpyeong Makguksu

Bongpyeong Makguksu is a makguksu restaurant next to Seongmun Sunbogeum Church in Joyang-dong, Sokcho. It serves dongchimi-broth buckwheat makguksu and perilla-seed kalguksu, along with mandu and suyuk. The hoe makguksu comes with fresh vegetables, and dongchimi broth can be poured in to turn it into mul makguksu; ordering makguksu brings a complimentary buckwheat jeon. The restaurant sits deep in an alley, so parking is difficult.
