Wangdeokjeon

Wangdeokjeon is a tea shop in the Yongkang Street area of Taipei's Da'an District that sells Taiwanese teas such as Alishan oolong, Dongfang Meiren, and Jinxuan. Staff describe the nuances of aroma and flavor and select teas based on a customer's stated preferences, and they brew teas for tasting on request. They explain in English, Japanese, and Taiwanese, and use a voice translator when communication is difficult. Despite the large number of tea types, some products are labeled with only a name and no description, making them hard to tell apart by aroma alone.
