Menya Tsuruhashi

Menya Tsuruhashi is an udon and soba shop on the inner loop platform of JR Tsuruhashi Station in Osaka. Its signature dish is fried chicken udon, and customers buy a meal ticket from the vending machine next to the entrance and pick up their food themselves. Orders come out quickly, and the shop has only a counter with no chairs. The udon noodles have weak chewiness and break easily when picked up with chopsticks.
