Yetnal Son Kalguksu

Old Son Kalguksu is a neighborhood noodle shop in Seoul that serves kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) and sujebi (hand-torn dough soup). It also takes orders for a half-and-half mix of kalguksu and sujebi that is not on the menu. The shop has run since 1998, now operated by the daughter after the grandmother, and its hours are 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The broth is lightly seasoned, so the seasoning has to be adjusted separately with cheongyang chili pepper and soy sauce.
