The inclined elevator runs along the 108 stairs between Huam-dong and Haebangchon, next to the entrance stairs to Namsan Tower. It is a 15-person facility for neighborhood elderly residents, and riders can get off at any floor from the first to the fourth. It is the first inclined elevator installed in a residential area in Seoul, and it covers the distance from the bottom of the stairs to the top in one minute. It stops at an intermediate section, so the actual travel time is slower than the distance suggests.
