Somsak Pu-ob

Somsak Pu Ob is a street-side seafood restaurant on Thanon Charoen Rat in Bangkok that serves crab and shrimp with glass noodles. Its crab with noodles, pu ob woonsen, is seasoned with fish sauce and oyster sauce, and the sauce comes on the side so it can be mixed in before the noodles soak it up. Arriving early avoids the wait, and at the outdoor seats you can bring your own alcohol and order only ice. The seats are on the roadside, so exhaust fumes are heavy.
