Hippo 1997

Hippo 1997 is a cafe in Seoul that sells sio ppang, baguette, campagne and coffee. Its signature items are sio ppang with a butter-filled baguette texture and a jambon beurre sandwich made with jambon, butter and arugula. The brownies use Valrhona and Callebaut dark chocolate, and the danpat ppang uses domestic red beans and walnuts. Takeout, wireless internet and pets are allowed, and reservations and simple payments are available.
