Gion Daiki

Gion Daiki is a small Japanese restaurant serving Kyoto cuisine omakase in an alley near Tatsumibashi in Gion. The seasoning does not overpower the ingredients, and multiple courses are served at a counter facing the kitchen where the cooking can be watched. The space is small and centered on the counter, run by a chef and manager who are a married couple. Reservations are required before visiting.
